The vibrant, lively and undoubtedly talented uk based artist, has played a huge role in the development of the fast growing genre of Afrobeats. It is fair to say Mista Silva (Kwame Amponsa) is a pioneer for the uk scene, It is no suprise that he has recieved support across the globe which has seen him perform on numerous overseas stages.
The south London born artist is no stranger to the charts, alot of his tracks have recieved recognition above the calibre of his fellow industry counterparts. These successful tracks include BoomBoomTah which was the first unsigned afrobeat track to be playlisted on BBC 1Xtra. Other successful tracks which have reached Afrobeat headlines include 'No1' and 'I know you like am'. Mista Silva also has many influencial features, with popular verses, on tracks such as 'Shine Your Eyes' and 'Bo Wom Sem Ma Me'.
Mista Silvas last EP was titled 'FULL VIM'. The EP reached impressive views and recieved positive feedback on youtube. Mista Silva is of ghanaian origin this often influences his music, evident in his tendency to rap in twi in most of his songs.
